My preferred combination of breakfast is a plain of raw oats that I boil on water (proportion 1:3 meaning 1 part or raw oats and 3 parts of water). Then wash some fresh seasonal fruits and cut them in small pieces on top.
Depending on the time of the year (and country you live) you can vary them. However, my advice is to always give preference to seasonal ones. I live in Lombardy (Italy) so here, starting from March-April like now until late June, are available strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. In Summertime I change with melon and apricots. All the year-round are available: bananas, kiwi and oranges. On top, I melt a small spoon of natural honey. Even best if acquired from a local beekeeper to ensure the honey is pure and natural, without additives.
This type of breakfast gives a good provision of minerals and vitamins, and also sugar (from honey) that our brain loves so much. I also drink a cup of green tea (my preferred is Milk Oolong) instead of coffee at half-morning.
