Design Objects - The Collection Pablo (2019) by Vincent Van Duysen for B&B Italia

Vincent Van Duysen, born in 1962 in Belgium, graduated in architecture in 1985, starts immediately working in Milan, collaborating with Cinzia Ruggeri and Studio Cibic-Sottsass Associates. Later, in 1990, he will open his own study, concentrating on architecture and interior design, but also in industrial design, creating exquisite furniture pieces for most important brands from the industry, such as B&B Italia, but also being the Art Director for Molteni&C and Dada, other two Italian brands of international fame.

His projects and design items are all signed by pure shapes, clean design, using natural materials making them TIMELESS.

The armchair PABLO of modern and minimalistic design has the structure in massive wood, walnut Canaletto, or oak (finish light, gray, black, or smoked). The upholstering for sitting/back is made in one-piece natural hard leather (proposed in a dozen of different colors).

Moreover, this model was extended to form a Collection for Outdoors, by the same name PABLO, including armchairs, sofas, and small tables. The structure is made in solid wood, upholstering in polyurethane foam of different density and water-repellent polyester fiber, back-support in tubular steel upholstered with fabric, and coverings proposed in a selection of water-repellent fabrics.
