The playful character of the Castiglioni brothers is remarkably evident through their work, and some design pieces particularly express their love for experimenting with shapes and using their imagination skills with reflecting or creating personages.

These characters are evident in their marble Snoopy design, in the name of the beloved cartoon character and featuring a distinctive, light-hearted shape. The original model debuted in 1967, but the version we find today produced by the Italian company FLOS is a new version from 2003 using updated technology.

The Snoopy modern desk lamp provides direct light through a thick glass disk and an enameled reflector, both resting in perfect balance on a white marble base. There is a minimalistic internal dimmer and switch placed on the base.

Inspiration behind the design: With the Snoopy, brothers Achille and Pier Giacamo Castiglioni pay tribute to the sweet natured character Snoopy by Charles M. Schulz.
