This style dress takes the origins from underwear sleeveless T-shirt, lowered down to cover hips, and comfortably embrace a woman’s figure. Usually, it has no sleeves and no collar, so it will uncover and put in evidence your neckline, décolleté, show off your shoulders and arms.
It may have different bottoms and applications. Today we can find it in many versions, from loose fit with no decorations to fashionable detailing applications; however, the bottom may be with a skirt that has a straight cut, slightly pleated, ruffled, godet, semi-circular, or other. Moreover, it can be of any length, from mini (slightly covering the hips line) to maxi (going down reaching the floor).
Best advantage – it is multifunctional, can wear by itself, as a dress, or as a T-shirt, paired with leggings or stretch jeans.
With this style dress the best will fit flat sandals and ballerinas, but also sneakers, all that reminds of leisure and free time. It requires minimum accessories: it may be a pair of earrings, one bracelet, or a pendant.
I can’t wait for the warm weather to have the opportunity to wear my collection of T-shirt dresses. Some of them are vintage, other are more recent, but all of them offer comfortability of movement and are among my favorites for the summertime! Did you find your FAVORITES?
Best wishes,
