The author of PAPILIO is the famous designer of Japanese origins Naoto Fukasawa, who signed products of simple beauty and ergonomic forms for many prestigious brands of international fame, as the Italian producer company B&B Italia.

The model Papilio was evolved in a series of products, all signed by the same sinuous lines, reminding the wings of a butterfly:

1/ The stools Papilio (in two heights) and chair Papilio (2008) were the first of the collection, with legs in tubular steel (polished chrome or bronzed nickel) and sitting/backrest upholstered in polyurethane foam of different density Bayfit®. Covers proposed in a selection of fabrics and leathers monochrome, completely removable, with stainless steel zip at sight.
