In this season of the year, there is a wide selection of flowers! Depending on your wedding Theme and Location (countryside, city, mountains or sea), there is a huge variety of flowers to choose from, of any mood and style, that will help you create the atmosphere you want! I researched for my wedding last year, and so I decided to share what I found of best interest with you, my readers.
Before starting your flower’s selection, first of all, you must create a list of the compositions you will need to do:
1. Bridal bouquet (of course). What is to be considered here is the shape and the size! Every year there is in trend a different shape: round, cascade, posy, circle, etc. The shape of the bouquet must be coordinated with the style of the dress, because together, along with other accessories (and hairstyle) you’re going to create the Bridal Outfit. Moreover, it is also important its size: the taller you are, the bigger the composition you can hold in your hands so that it will look proportional to your silhouette.
2. You shall also consider ordering smaller bouquets for your Bridesmaids – similar flowers but smaller bouquets or with completely different flowers, but correlated to the location or/and following the color scheme of the location.
3. A flower-signature for the Groom - the one that is present in your Bridal bouquet too.
4. Central Table – compositions that will be present on every table at the restaurant, where you’ll place your guests for lunch or dinner.
5. Ceremony compositions – an Arch or Gazebo if it is somewhere outside; or the aisle in the Church in case of religious ceremony.
A piece of ultimate advice I shall give to you before starting the selection is to take into consideration the financial aspect: the more exclusive and rare flowers you’ll choose regarding the country/place you live, the most expensive they will cost.
